Nose
Intense aromas reminiscent of rosemary, honey, pine nuts and almond blossom.
Mouthfeel
Warm, unctuous with a lingering and persistent finish. Notes of stone fruits such as peaches and apricots.

A white wine with a unique coupage where the Chardonnay provides warmth, the Xarel·lo structure and the Muscat finesse. It comes from our best organically farmed vineyards.

The huge personality of this wine makes it ideal to accompany national and international dishes such as fish, rice, seafood, soft cheeses, sushi, foie gras and smoked foods.
Occasion
This is a fanTastingic white wine which, among other things, boasts an outstanding coupage. Drink by the glass or with an aperitif. And it's also the perfect pairing to mark and cleanse the mouth in bolder dishes such as smoked cold cuts, fish and seafood rice dishes and even cold dishes from Asian cuisine. A festival of flavours if you accompany it with a great sushi platter. Simply wonderful!
In the vineyard
The legacy of previous generations of winegrowers provides a trusted hallmark. From Gelida to El Vendrell and throughout the Penedès, more than 2,300 hectares of vineyards spread across more than fifty towns and villages make up the Covides vineyard.
In the winery
Harvest: the Chardonnay in early August and the Xarel·lo and Muscat in late August. All the grapes are destemmed and in the case of the Chardonnay, there's a slight maceration with the skins at low temperature.

Covides
Covides is the leading wine cooperative in Catalonia in terms of volume, with an average annual harvest of around twenty-four million kilos of grapes.
It stems from the desire of more than six hundred winegrowers from the Penedès to use their harvests to make wine together.
Do Penedès
The DO Penedès is the Denomination of Origin with the most history and tradition in Catalonia, located just forty kilometres away from Barcelona.
Thanks to its geographical location, it produces wines influenced by the sea breezes that come from the Garraf coast and reach the pre-coastal mountain range. After centuries of winemaking tradition, the DO Penedès is approaching the future as a benchmark in Catalonia.
