Made with grapes from vineyards over 60 years old, with resistant vines that have lived in poor soil. Its yield is low but very selective.
White wine obtained exclusively from unpressed grapes and fermented in Allier French oak barrels. Aged for 6 months on its fine lees with weekly bâtonnage.
The building of the Bodega Cooperativa de Espolla cooperative opened its doors on 8 November 1931, designed by the architect Pelayo Martinez and inspired by the so-called wine cathedrals of the Tarragona area.
