Suprem Ancestral wine
Suprem is a natural sparkling wine made through the ancestral method. Unlike the traditional one in which two fermentations occur, in the ancestral method we bottle the wine partway through its primary fermentation. The remaining gas is trapped inside the bottle. This way we get a natural sparkling wine with no added sugars. Enjoy this peculiar and delicious white wine while experiencing one of the first forms of winemaking French origin: the ancestral method.

Sparkling wine made with minimal handing, natural, without expedition liquor, where the only existing sugar is the residual sugar from the fermentation. Due to its natural elaboration process, it can contain a slight sedimentation.

Sparkling wine made through the ancestral method. Unlike the traditional one in which two fermentations occur, in the ancestral method there is only one. The wine begins its fermentation in tanks and in the middle of the fermentation it is bottled. Thus, the gas that is generated naturally during the rest of the fermentation is trapped inside the bottle and gives rise to the bubbles of the wine.
In 1942 the Union of Cooperatives of the Camp of the Province of Tarragona to Reus was constituted. The entity was created with the aim of bringing together all the farmers of the province.
Three years later, Unió acquired the first facilities on Tivoli Street in the city of Reus, popularly known as "La Exportadora". In 1945 the Priorat Designation of Origin was born. That year, Unió bottled its first bottle of DO Priorat wine. In 1963 the Union of Cooperatives of the Camp of the Province of Tarragona is separated from the State and becomes a private entity.
