Primicia is the brand that is firmly set in the winery's recent history, as it gave its name to our first bottled wine. A discovery of bottled Garnachas that soon made a name for itself on the market. This white has aged for 3 months in acacia barrels, resulting in a Garnacha Blanca with a personal and exultant touch.

A white wine with the Garnacha at its finest. The hint of its time in new acacia barrels gives it a really interesting and different character from other white Garnachas.

Rice dishes and pasta. Risottos, mushroom ravioli, pesto spaghetti, baked or pan-fried fish, cod and processed white meats.
An exultant Garnacha Blanca par excellence. A wine that magically disappears once the bottle is open. It boasts a special personality thanks to its three months in an acacia barrel. You'll drink it with pleasure and a certain passion. One of those ideal wines that cleanses your mouth and pairs wonderfully with a Tastingy pizza or some delicious sushi. Experiment!
Selected vineyards over twenty years old, with rocky and calcareous soils. The influence of the Cierzo winds from the southwest gives it a truly special character as the grape ripens in a very balanced way.
Pre-fermentation extended maceration and fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14°C to 16°C that begins in concrete tanks and ends in new acacia barrels. It remains in the barrels for a few months, ageing with the fine lees to deliver more volume and unctuousness in the mouth.
The relationship of the Tierra Alta with wine comes from the Phoenicians, who set up trade routes with various geographical points across the Iberian Peninsula.
And it was via the mouth of the River Ebro in the Mediterranean Sea that today's Batea, located less than fifty kilometres away, had its first contact with wine in the seventh century BC.
The so-called Customs of Orta (1296) and Miravet (1319) already regulated the sale of wine from the region. But it wasn't until the late nineteenth century that winegrowing became widespread. With the phylloxera plague, the demand from producers for DO Terra Alta [1] grapes increased, first from the French and then from the neighbouring regions that today are DO Tarragona and DOQ Priorat. In the early twentieth century, the organisation of cooperatives was a revolution.
