Designation of origin
Style of Wine
Casual and fruity
Red wine with an intense cherry colour and purple around the edges. When swirled, tears form in the glass.
Lively and fruity, harmony of Cabernet and Merlot. Aromas of very ripe red berries, jams and liquorice.
Silky, balanced and rounded. Excellent acidity-tannin balance, with a lingering finish. Long and Tastingy afterTastinge.
Wine with personality, fresh and very broad, with an aromatic finish in which the varietal idiosyncrasy prevails.
Between 13 and 15 degrees
Ideal to pair with meats, roasts, pâtés, cold cuts, cheeses, blue fish, and other possibilities.
An outstanding young wine that showcases a great understanding between the two varieties used to make the blend. It's also very versatile when it comes to pairing, and - although it may seem strange - it goes really well with quintessentially Mediterranean oily fish. If someone looks at you with a surprised face, don't worry, you're on the right track. What can you do if there's a sceptic with you? Invite them to this party of flavours.

Castell d'Or was created in 2006 after the union of a group of wineries from different winegrowing areas of the Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, Tarragona and Montsant.
These wineries, some dating back over a century, are committed to pooling their experience and expertise in the processes of producing, processing, packaging and distributing wines, cavas and oils, raising the quality of their products and brands until gaining recognition and prestige across the world.
The DO Penedès is the Denomination of Origin with the most history and tradition in Catalonia, located just forty kilometres away from Barcelona.
Thanks to its geographical location, it produces wines influenced by the sea breezes that come from the Garraf coast and reach the pre-coastal mountain range. After centuries of winemaking tradition, the DO Penedès is approaching the future as a benchmark in Catalonia.
