Result of the partnership between the Cooperativa Falset-Marçà and the sommelier Eric Lahon. Made with grapes from the vineyards that Lahon bought in the DO Montsant. The idea is to showcase the maximum expressiveness of the different varieties. The delicate fermentation and ageing in French oak barrels give the wine a remarkable personality.

Red wine with an intense dark cherry colour, well covered with violet rims.
Plum, fruits of the forest. Mild dark-roasted flavours, cocoa and dark chocolate. Elegant smoked and toasted notes, ripe fruit.
Well melted and very fruity tannins. Structured, dry on the palate and resounding, liquorice and black fruit in liqueur.
One of the most idiosyncratic wines in the range made by the family project of Lahon, who comes from Brussels (Belgium) and settled in Tastinglonia in 1994. The grapes from vines over 90 years old (Mas Lahon) give it a sensational character.
18 degrees. Decant an hour before Tastinging
Meat dishes, roasts and game. It's also a magnificent wine for cow's milk cheeses. Or try with premium quality olive oil on toast and a dark chocolate.
It's always fascinating to find out the opinion of experienced foreign sommeliers about a wine, a territory or a winemaking project. In this case, it's not just about an opinion, as Eric Lahon was so enamoured with the Montsant vineyards and their wines that he decided to buy his own vineyards (Mas Lahon). This is a one-of-a-kind wine to share with friends and enjoy on special occasions. They'll most definitely remember them because of the wine they savoured. By the way, in this case and as never before, you must respect the recommended temperature and open it a long time before drinking. Try it and you'll understand why.
Grapes selected from the oldest vines of each variety. Slate, chalk, calcareous and sandy soils at altitudes between 350 and 600 metres.
Each variety is vinified separately: fermentation in stainless steel, long maceration at 14°C and 24 months in French oak barrels. The coupage takes place just before bottling. Unfiltered.
The Cooperativa Falset-Marçà (DO Montsant) is the result of the merger between the Marçà and Falset cooperatives, two neighbouring towns just a three-kilometre drive apart in the southern part of the Priorat region.
In 1932, the Falset subzone was created within the limits of the DO Tarragona, which had previously occupied the current territory of the DO Montsant (finally created in 2001). It currently has a total of fifty-nine wineries spread between the Priorat and the Ribera de Ebro. The DO covers everything from family vineyards to private wineries of various sizes and major cooperatives.
Viniscoop's wines and cavas are authentic products of the land. They are made by agricultural cooperatives, which represent hundreds of farming families.
With your purchase you are promoting the social, economic and environmental sustainability of the territory, offering opportunities to young people in rural areas and enjoying authentic products, made following the tradition inherited for generations.
Our values make us different. Cheers and good wine!
