The Cooperativa Falset-Marçà (DO Montsant) is the result of the merger between the Marçà and Falset cooperatives, two neighbouring towns just a three-kilometre drive apart in the southern part of the Priorat region. Its main activity is the production of quality wines and oils.
More than one hundred years ago (1912), Marçà saw the creation of its first cooperative, while the one in Falset dates back to 1917. The merger of the two local cooperatives took place in 1999.
Directly linked to the local area, this winery expresses itself by extracting the aromatic power of Garnacha, Mazuelo, Syrah and other grape varieties that are meticulously selected during the harvest season. During the winemaking process, the intensity of the soils and the climate leave a mark on the wines.
