Ètim Syrah has an intense claret red colour with a deep violet layer.
Nose
Very clean aromas, balsamic hints, eucalyptus and fresh mint, red fruit (blackberries), plums, candied fruits.
Mouthfeel
Very good attack and midpalate, lingering afterTastinge. Sweet and unctuous tannins, lingering finish.
General
Opulent, intense and balanced, this is our Ètim Syrah by Lluís Capdevila. A wine aged for fourteen months in French oak barrels and rested for a further seven months in the former mill of the Falset Wine Cathedral.

Pairing Notes
This is an excellent wine for grilled meats and roasts. Choose it for a special meal where enjoying food and drink is like a ritual. A tip for you: save a little to drink with a cured sheep's cheese or a blue cheese for dessert.
Occasion
Stop the press. This isn't just an outstanding limited edition, but also a wine that has aged for seven months with an exceptional companion: the music of the composer and pianist Lluís Capdevila. This is his experience: "If music can heal or change the state of mind, it can also make a wine evolve better, can't it? I was convinced that the vibes would have a positive impact". After two hundred hours of music, the wine had changed". We don't think there's anything else to say that could tempt you to try it.
In the vineyard
Selection of low-yield Syrah vineyards, located between 400 and 600 metres above sea level on slopes with slate and calcareous soils.
In the winery
Aged for 14 months in fine-grained and lightly toasted French oak barrels. Bottled after a gentle filtration and rested for a further seven months in the former mill.

Cooperativa Falset - Mas Lahon
The Cooperativa Falset-Marçà (DO Montsant) is the result of the merger between the Marçà and Falset cooperatives, two neighbouring towns just a three-kilometre drive apart in the southern part of the Priorat region.
Do Montsant
In 1932, the Falset subzone was created within the limits of the DO Tarragona, which had previously occupied the current territory of the DO Montsant (finally created in 2001). It currently has a total of fifty-nine wineries spread between the Priorat and the Ribera de Ebro. The DO covers everything from family vineyards to private wineries of various sizes and major cooperatives.
