Clos De Les Dòmines Negre
The Clos de las Dòmines Negro Reserve wine offers the utmost expression of two of the black grape varieties in the Empordà: the Cariñena Negra and the Cabernet Sauvignon. It's a robust, full-bodied wine, rounded off by its production method in concrete, French oak and bottle. A special coupage for a very interesting wine.

General
Clos de las Dòmines Reserve is a very robust red wine. So much time in the barrel imparts notes of wood. A simple sniff of the glass will reward you with a burst of aromas. Of course, the first drink has nothing to do with the last. And it's when this wine breathes that it becomes a true delight.
Serving temperature
Between 17 and 18 degrees
Pairing Notes
Red meats, stews, poultry and all kinds of cheeses.
Occasion
You'll have often heard the expressions "this is a full-bodied wine, very robust, with very well integrated wood, very balanced". Well, this one has it all. If you like intense emotions, you should try it by itself in a good glass that releases everything that has been stored for months in the concrete tanks, in the French oak barrels and, finally, in the bottle. You'll see how the first glass barely resembles the last. The evolution is spectacular. And, very important, monitor the temperature very well and open the bottle well in advance. If you can decant a half hour beforehand, you definitely won't regret it. Enjoy!
In the vineyard
Made with grapes from vineyards over 60 years old, with resistant vines that have lived in poor soil. Its yield is low but very selective.
In the winery
Red wine with a very long maceration, fermented in concrete tanks, aged for 24 months in French oak barrels and a minimum of 12 months in the bottle.
Celler Cooperatiu d'Espolla
The building of the Bodega Cooperativa de Espolla cooperative opened its doors on 8 November 1931, designed by the architect Pelayo Martinez and inspired by the so-called wine cathedrals of the Tarragona area.
The project had its origins in the Espolla Agricultural Union, established in 1906 by its winegrowers.
Do Empordà
Wine culture reached Catalonia around the sixth century BC thanks to the most important Greek colony in the country, Empúries.
Four centuries later, the wines of the Emporiae territories were well-known in domestic markets, in other provinces of the Roman Empire and in the metropolis itself.
