In the vinyeard
Mediterranean climate with continental tendency, scarce rainfall and great temperature contrast between winter and summer. The vineyards of L'Home Peix come from the Corbera area, an area with a predominance of old vines of low production.
Agrícola de Corbera d'Ebre
Garnacha is one of the distinguishing features of its wines, which are accompanied by other varieties such as Macabeo, Parellada, Tempranillo, Merlot, Mazuelo, Syrah and Cariñena. The area basks in a Mediterranean climate with strong continental influence and low levels of precipitation. These conditions, accompanied by a high-altitude terroir and strong sunshine, make the wines robust and well-structured.
Do Terra Alta
The so-called Customs of Orta (1296) and Miravet (1319) already regulated the sale of wine from the region. But it wasn't until the late nineteenth century that winegrowing became widespread. With the phylloxera plague, the demand from producers for DO Terra Alta [1] grapes increased, first from the French and then from the neighbouring regions that today are DO Tarragona and DOQ Priorat. In the early twentieth century, the organisation of cooperatives was a revolution.
