After an initial acidity, we discovered persistent but ripe tannins and fresh fruit such as blackcurrant and blueberries, as well as blackcurrant leaf.
100% Carignan, this wine shows how well this variety adapts to the Mediterranean climate. The touch of acidity, together with the good presence of fruit, make Lo Bonet a wine full of life.

Lovers of varietal wines will enjoy the Nadiu collection of the Vinícola del Priorat. In this case, with a pure Carignan, very well adapted to the territory. Although the monovarietals of this variety were not usual, we find more and more wineries that dare to present their proposal. Dare to try it too!
A highly recommended wine to accompany red meats, grilled steak, spoon dishes and legumes. Also with dishes of Iberian ham and cured cheeses.
Carignan vines up to 40 years old, planted on terraces, harvested by hand, in the towns of Gratallops, El Lloar, Vilella Alta and Vilella Baixa.
Harvested by hand. Once in the cellar, it ferments in stainless steel tanks and undergoes a gentle aging on fine lees. It is then bottled and rested in the bottle for 12 months.
Located in the heart of Priorat, Vinícola del Priorat is the heir of the local cooperatives of the villages of Gratallops, el Lloar, Vilella Alta and Vilella Baixa, founded in 1917. 140 families are behind this project based on quality and professionalism, with more than 300 small plots growing in the constraints of these four villages.
The Cartoixa de Scala Dei monastery symbolises the historical birthplace of wines and winegrowing of the DOQ Priorat (Qualified Designation of Origin).
Back in the twelfth century, Carthusian monks brought from Provence the knowledge and techniques to develop a viticulture that soon took root and has evolved over the centuries. The Carthusian domains formed the so-called historical Priorat, which today coincides with the DOQ Priorat wine region.
