This white wine DOC Priorat is a very exclusive white Grenache. Vinícola del Priorat celler bottles only about 1,000 bottles every year. It ferments in oak barrels and rests for about 10 months in bottle. A laborious and delicate work that culminates in a single instant: the moment to try it. A great white wine to enjoy all year round.

Wine very rich in aromas where we can find from ripe white fruit (apricot, peach) to notes of cake and baked apple.
Broad, with a fine balance between aging notes, ripe fruit and refreshing acidity, with a long finish.
Macià is a white wine with character. And like all wines with character, it is unique. Not only for its limited production (about 1,000 bottles) but for the expressiveness, the enormous range of aromas it offers on the nose and its wide and intense flavor.
Between 8 and 10 degrees
Extraordinary. A great white wine to enjoy all year round. Uncork a bottle to accompany the appetizers: monkfish croquettes, scallops, a cheese board... And since it's open, keep the rest of the meal with it. Pleasure assured.
This is a wine that we can enjoy both alone, by the glass, and paired. A magnificent companion for creamy cheeses and for sea and mountain rice and fatty fish. A great complement to oily fish.
White Grenache vines up to 40 years old, planted on terraces, harvested by hand, in the towns of Gratallops, El Lloar, Vilella Alta and Vilella Baixa.
Harvested by hand. The Macià ferments in new French oak barrels and is subsequently bottled.
Located in the heart of Priorat, Vinícola del Priorat is the heir of the local cooperatives of the villages of Gratallops, el Lloar, Vilella Alta and Vilella Baixa, founded in 1917. 140 families are behind this project based on quality and professionalism, with more than 300 small plots growing in the constraints of these four villages.
The Cartoixa de Scala Dei monastery symbolises the historical birthplace of wines and winegrowing of the DOQ Priorat (Qualified Designation of Origin).
Back in the twelfth century, Carthusian monks brought from Provence the knowledge and techniques to develop a viticulture that soon took root and has evolved over the centuries. The Carthusian domains formed the so-called historical Priorat, which today coincides with the DOQ Priorat wine region.
