Tasting
Appearance
The variety's pink skin gives the characteristic copper colour.
Nose
Aromas of ripe white fruit, mineral touches and hints of roses. A complex, fresh and unique wine.
Mouthfeel
Very fresh attack, with a subtle final bitterness. A complex wine, structured but very fresh and unique.
General
Single-varietal rosé wine, pure Mediterranean essence from the coast of Tarragona made with exceptional grapes from very old vines.
Serving temperature
Between 6 and 8 degrees
Pairing Notes
Ideal to pair with rice and fish, but also with white meat.
Occasion
A red Xarel·lo included in the category of pét-nats, made just as our grandparents used to make. The exceptional nature of this wine is also due to its very limited production, with only around two thousand bottles produced per year. As we always say, this is also a wine to experiment with. You'll love it as much by the glass as accompanied with a seafood rice. The combination of the two flavours gives a fanTastingic contrast. The wine will quickly cleanse your mouth and invite you to continue eating. It's important to respect the temperature and, above all, not to keep it open in the fridge for too long.
In the vineyard
Vineyards over 80 years old, 18 kilometres from the sea and 230 metres above sea level. Clay-limestone soils rich in minerals.
In the winery
Macerated with its unique pink skin. Fermented and aged for 5 months (50% in French oak barrels and 50% in ancient stone vats). Slight ageing on its lees.
Adernats
The Vinícola de Nulles winery, with the wine cathedral as its emblem, is the story of people working together to make a dream come true. .
A breath of hope that was almost impossible after the huge desolation caused by the phylloxera plague
Do Tarragona
The Romans were the driving force behind wines in the regions of Tarragona, which were considered the most privileged in the whole Empire.
The Calle Real in Tarragona, just by the port, grouped together many wineries that exported their wines by sea across Europe.
