Remember when, long ago, we used to think that a rosé was a wine without much identity? Well, you can start changing your mind because this rosé will instantly surprise you thanks to its freshness and its awesome acidity. It's also an aromatic festival on the nose. In the vineyard
Vineyards located in the Conca de Barberà. The soils are rocky and the vineyards have little water. Low yield per hectare and the vineyard is subjected to harsher conditions. Lower grape yield but wines with a unique structure, intensity and expressiveness.
In the winery
Premium quality must that undergoes controlled pressing to secure an excellent raw material. Clarification using natural products and respecting the nature of the wine. Natural yeasts. Enhancement of the final flavour and the most appropriate pReserve process.
Castell d'Or was created in 2006 after the union of a group of wineries from different winegrowing areas of the Penedès, Conca de Barberà, Priorat, Tarragona and Montsant.
These wineries, some dating back over a century, are committed to pooling their experience and expertise in the processes of producing, processing, packaging and distributing wines, cavas and oils, raising the quality of their products and brands until gaining recognition and prestige across the world.
The DO Catalunya, created in 1999, covers the vast majority of wine-producing municipalities in Catalonia.
It sets out to improve the quality of wines and vineyards by fostering research and applying cutting-edge technologies in order to respond to today's demanding markets. Consolidate, create and innovate are the cornerstones of this DO.
