The selection of Clos del Pinell wines has an exceptional advocate: the Garnacha from the Terra Alta. Young, still wines that provide the utmost expressiveness of this variety that has been so enthusiastically accepted in recent years.

Very clean wine, with a wonderfully bright strawberry pink colour.
Aromas with notes of red fruit. Hints of candied fruit.
A very pleasant midpalate, with unequivocal finesse, refreshing, and with a lingering, persistent afterTastinge.
A rosé wine with an unmistakeable Mediterranean character, fresh, very mellow. The vigour of its youth is a prime example of the Terra Alta vineyards.
Between 8 and 10 degrees
A very mellow rosé, ideal to pair with all kinds of Mediterranean cuisine (rice dishes), pasta, white meat, fish, shellfish. Soft cheeses. Or try it with sushi!
Talking about a young Garnacha introduces us to a range of wines that are usually classified as 'still' wines. But the Terra Alta grapes give it a special added value. A casual rosé that will be perfect whether you prefer to drink it by the glass, as an aperitif or with a more elaborate meal. But you can go even further and serve it with a seafood rice or some oysters. You'll love it!
Vineyards planted on irregular terraces with a mostly calcareous soil not too rich in organic matter. The typical winds of the Mediterranean climate favour the ripening of the grape.
Grape meticulously nurtured in the vineyard, picked by hand and pressed gently. Vinification process during which various fermentations are carried out at different temperatures to extract as much as possible from the Garnacha. Selected yeasts.
In 1942 the Union of Cooperatives of the Camp of the Province of Tarragona to Reus was constituted. The entity was created with the aim of bringing together all the farmers of the province.
Three years later, Unió acquired the first facilities on Tivoli Street in the city of Reus, popularly known as "La Exportadora". In 1945 the Priorat Designation of Origin was born. That year, Unió bottled its first bottle of DO Priorat wine. In 1963 the Union of Cooperatives of the Camp of the Province of Tarragona is separated from the State and becomes a private entity.
The so-called Customs of Orta (1296) and Miravet (1319) already regulated the sale of wine from the region. But it wasn't until the late nineteenth century that winegrowing became widespread. With the phylloxera plague, the demand from producers for DO Terra Alta [1] grapes increased, first from the French and then from the neighbouring regions that today are DO Tarragona and DOQ Priorat. In the early twentieth century, the organisation of cooperatives was a revolution.
