Pairing Notes
Each bottle expresses the virtues of a great cava, which make it suitable for drinking at any time of the day or night, either with a whole host of dishes from seafood to desserts or by the glass.
Occasion
This is a versatile cava. We could even use the buzz word 'across the board'. And that's because it can be used as an aperitif before a meal, with the meal itself, or by the glass in the evening. Spectacular pairings include oysters, jackknife clams or mussels. You'll be taken to seventh heaven. What a great friend!
In the vineyard
Vineyards planted from 350 metres to almost 700 metres above sea level in the north of the Conca de Barberà, among the highest in Tastinglonia. Sustainable winemaking practices.
In the winery
Second fermentation in the bottle using the traditional method, and aged for more than 15 months in the cellars of the Sarral cooperative.
Vinícola De Sarral
1959 saw the merger of this village's two farming entities, the Agricultural Union, created in 1907, and the Winegrowers Union, formed in 1913 under the name of Cooperativa Vinícola de Sarral.
The production of bottled wines and cavas dates back to the 1980s (the construction of the first cellar, for example, dates from 1984). Later, the facilities were expanded and modernised, first for the production of cavas and then still wines.
This is much more than just a bottle of wine
