Vimblanc is a typical vin de liqueur from the Tarragona region and especially from the town of Vinebre in the Ribera de Ebro. It's a sweet white wine made with grapes of the Pansal variety (Xarel·lo) that are allowed to overripen in the vineyard. But in this case, the vimblanc is made 100% with Pedro Ximénez. This unique vimblanc has a very limited production.

Vimblanc is one of the best-kept secrets of the Ribera de Ebro. Rediscover the dessert wine loved by our grandparents, made with grapes of the Pedro Ximénez variety.
Between 8 and 10 degrees
Its digestive qualities make it an ideal wine for desserts or as a mid-afternoon tipple. It goes perfectly with shortbread, biscuits, chocolate, sweet fritters or apple pie. It's also possible to pair it with savoury appetisers and foie gras.
A wine that will delight anyone with a sweet tooth, but will definitely captivate all palates. As a dessert wine it can be paired with lots of things, but it goes really well typical desserts from the Ribera de Ebro or Terra Alta. Also ideal to serve with sugared cakes. But as we always like to go to the other extreme, try it with a rather timid and not too overpowering blue cheese. Simply delicious!
Specially selected grapes of the Pedro Ximénez variety that are left to dry in the sun so that they lose their water and concentrate all their components, especially the sugars.
After drying, the grapes are pressed and fermented very slowly. Aged in oak and chestnut barrels using the solera method, based on a solera from 2004. A part of the liquid evaporates: concentration of flavours, acidity and sugar. Very unique wine.

Three years later, Unió acquired the first facilities on Tivoli Street in the city of Reus, popularly known as "La Exportadora". In 1945 the Priorat Designation of Origin was born. That year, Unió bottled its first bottle of DO Priorat wine. In 1963 the Union of Cooperatives of the Camp of the Province of Tarragona is separated from the State and becomes a private entity.
