Vi Ranci Cellers Unió
After intense work, a rancio wine has been made on a solera that can be considered a jewel of the last century (1928). For this, the winery has used a grape variety from very close to its heart: the Garnacha Blanca. And this rancio wine has been obtained without the extra addition of any type of alcohol. This simple fact already makes it a dessert wine like few others.

This is the ideal companion for any dessert that uses wine. But it also goes well with all kinds of pastries, confectionery or sponge cakes. The bold among you should also try it with blue cheese.

Not for now, as it's your turn to try. As the pairing notes say, this is an incredible dessert wine to round off a meal. Or dare to try it with a strong blue cheese. You can provide the adjectives! In the vineyard
Selected old vines in Vilalba dels Arcs. Historic solera from 1928.
In the winery
The must ferments in stainless steel tanks and then goes on to age in oak and chestnut barrels. The subsequent ageing uses a solera-criadera system based on an original solera from 1928.
Cellers Unió
In 1942 the Union of Cooperatives of the Camp of the Province of Tarragona to Reus was constituted. The entity was created with the aim of bringing together all the farmers of the province.
Three years later, Unió acquired the first facilities on Tivoli Street in the city of Reus, popularly known as "La Exportadora". In 1945 the Priorat Designation of Origin was born. That year, Unió bottled its first bottle of DO Priorat wine. In 1963 the Union of Cooperatives of the Camp of the Province of Tarragona is separated from the State and becomes a private entity.
